Within the Jubilee Exhibition for the 200th anniversary of Badischer Kunstverein, 49° – Cultural Production in Karlsruhe, Open Studios, Marleine Chedraoui literally staged her studio and transformed it into a museum.

A museum guard met the visitors at the entrance of the studio and instructed them not to touch or photograph anything. The visitors entered the studio through a narrow long corridor which led them to the work space of the artist. At the door there was a pane of glass that provided a view into the room and denied entry at the same time.
