In this work, the letters have been “illuminated.” The photograph published in each letter’s respective newsletter served as the material, which Marleine Chedraoui redacted and used for the “illumination.” The resulting object is a bound book.

The work consists of the object pictured as well as its presentation in a vitrine with a glass cover, staged in a room by itself. The curator is asked to turn to a new page on announced dates throughout the duration of the exhibition. This page should remain open until the next date upon which this act is repeated.
